What is a CSA?

A CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, is a method for connecting consumers with farms growing local, seasonal produce (and sometimes flowers, meat, and other farm products.) Customers pay at the beginning of the season for a CSA “share,” which provides them with a season’s worth of fresh, varied, weekly boxes of farm goodness. The farm benefits from marketing and selling our products before the incredibly busy harvesting season kicks off, allowing for more time in the field when it’s vital. Share members get produce pulled from the garden the day they pick up their boxes, exposure to new types of produce, and a relationship with their farmer and the methods in which their food is grown.
